Strong industry, strong presence: German aviation industry with major appearance at the Singapore Airshow 2026
Singapore / Berlin, February 2, 2026 - The German aviation industry will present itself with impressive strength at the Singapore Airshow from February 3 - 8, 2026. With around 40 exhibitors, it will showcase its technological performance and international competitiveness. In the official German Pavilion of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), exhibitors will showcase their technologies, products and services along the entire industrial value chain - from classic aviation to state-of-the-art drone and space solutions as well as high-performance defense and sensor systems and key digital technologies. In doing so, the German industry is specifically addressing the region's growing aircraft fleets and underlining its life-cycle promise: the reliable operation of state-of-the-art systems throughout their entire service life. The joint stand is located in Hall C, Stand L73.
The Singapore Airhsow is the most important industry platform in the Asia-Pacific region. No other region is currently growing more strongly in global aviation and is now responsible for more than one third of global air traffic. The German Pavilion acts as a central point of contact for German and international delegations and as a platform for initiating business, matchmaking and expanding existing partnerships between German and Asian companies.
Marie-Christine von Hahn, Managing Director of the BDLI, explains: "The close interlinkage between civil aviation, defense and security makes our industry a key element of strategic stability. The German aerospace industry strengthens technological sovereignty - both economically and in terms of security policy - and assumes responsibility in geopolitically challenging times. Asia has enormous geopolitical significance and is one of the most important future markets for our industry. Our presence at the Singapore Airshow demonstrates how efficiently and well-connected German companies are operating internationally. The German Pavilion offers us the ideal platform to present the entire spectrum of our technologies - and at the same time to attract international guests to the ILA Berlin in June."
With its strong presence in Singapore, the German aviation industry is also turning its attention to the next major international industry event in Germany: ILA Berlin 2026, organized by the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) and Messe Berlin, which will take place from June 10 to 14, 2026 in Berlin. In the heart of Europe, ILA Berlin will gather top representatives from industry, politics, research and the armed forces and allow the general public to experience the technologies of the future.
