Under the motto “Sustainable Space: Resilient Earth,” the international space community came together to discuss innovations, sustainability, and the future of spaceflight. The German Pavilion, organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and supported by BDLI, was one of the largest national presences at the IAC, featuring 16 exhibitors. A particular highlight once again was the recurring Company Slams format. In short, concise pitches, exhibiting companies presented their latest projects to a broad professional audience.

During the traditional reception at the German Pavilion, guests were welcomed by Dr. Silke Launert, Parliamentary State Secretary at the BMFTR, Julia Kaute, Head of Science and Innovation at the German Embassy in Canberra, and Wolfgang Dürr, Chairman of the BDLI Specialist Committee for Military Space. Throughout the entire week of the congress, the German Pavilion had the honor of welcoming high-level delegations.

Our special thanks go to the BMWE, whose Foreign Trade Fair Program provides small and medium-sized enterprises in particular with an attractive and cost-effective opportunity to participate in the world’s most important space exhibition.
