Products and Services:
The Augsburg-based company MT Aerospace AG is an established and successful supplier to the aerospace, aviation and defence industries, as well as a partner for antennas and mechatronic systems and related services. In the aerospace sector, the company develops and produces components and subsystems for launch vehicles, satellites and orbital transfer systems. Today MT Aerospace supplies around ten percent of the hardware for the European launch vehicle ARIANE 5 and is the most important supplier for this programme outside France. The Augsburg company consistently demonstrates its innovative strength by developing new manufacturing techniques, e.g. for satellite tanks. The operations and maintenance sector at the Kourou site, French Guiana, is responsible for the ARIANE 5 integration and launch facilities. As a strategic partner in a European consortium, MT Aerospace is additionally responsible for coordinating elements of the ground facilities connected with the construction of the Soyuz launch pad in Kourou. In the aviation and defence sector, MT Aerospace develops and manufactures lightweight tanks and structures (predominantly for Airbus), as well as components and subsystems for missiles.
