Products and Services:
Becker Flugfunkwerk’s product portfolio ranges from compact, high-performance radio and navigation equipment and systems for aircraft through to direction finding systems and modern GPS-based NAV computers for search and rescue (SAR) applications.

The company has spent many years developing a product line of powerful communication and navigation devices, which have been adopted worldwide by the civil and military aviation industries. Right from the outset Becker Flugfunkwerk concentrated on developing lightweight equipment with compact mounting dimensions that were easy to use and maintain.

The company is heavily involved in modern satellite navigation systems based on computer and colour LC technology for the avionics sector. It also develops innovative equipment for air traffic control systems and SAR applications.

Becker Flugfunkwerk organises its operations into various business fields:

Cockpit avionics
This product line encompasses compact but powerful communication and navigation equipment for use in light aircraft and helicopters, a compact modular system of communication and navigation equipment for commercial aircraft, as well as digital audio and intercom systems.

Search and rescue (SAR) equipment
The company‘s Personal Locator Beacons have proved their worth on countless military operations. Becker is able to supply the entire system including suitable direction finding equipment and modern GPS-based NAV computers for SAR.

ATC ground communication systems
These systems provide customised solutions for the air traffic control sector. They are based on in-house technology in the form of communication and direction finding equipment combined with fully integrated systems from external providers.
