| Products and Services: Leistritz Turbinenkomponenten Remscheid GmbH manufactures components for the aircraft and energy industries, as well as a range of high-end forgings from super-alloys and lightweight construction materials. For the aircraft industry we manufacture: Aero-engine blades: precision-forged fan and compressor blades, stators made from titanium-or nickelbased alloys and ferrous-alloy stators with ready-toinstall flow channels. Blades can be delivered in a variety of geometries, from highly tapered/twisted to three-dimensionally curved, and with finished leading and trailing edges if required. Aero-engine disks: compressor and turbine disks, rotating bodies made of nickel-based, titanium-based and ferrous alloys for blade-integrated disks (blisks) and impellers. High-end forgings such as annulus fillers, leading edges, impellers and engine mounts in materials including titanium aluminide, aluminium-based alloys and aluminium metal matrix composites (ALMMCs). |
| Research and Technology Development Priorities: The main focus of our R&D work lies in the further development and optimisation of existing manufacturing processes and the use of simulation techniques with the aim of optimising quality and costs. We are also actively engaged in the development of key technologies for material applications and future-generation products. |
