EADS Defence & Security (DS)
EADS Defence & Security (DS) provides system solutions to armed and security forces around the world. Its portfolio ranges from sensors and secure networks to guided missiles and manned/unmanned aerial vehicles (M/UAV), and also includes global security solutions and product-specific service and support functions.

Activities undertaken by Military Air Systems (MAS)
MAS is EADS Defence & Security’s competence centre for military airborne systems, combining competences and capabilities in the fields of fighter aircraft, mission aircraft and training and transport aircraft. It is also active in the field of high-performance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). In addition, MAS offers training programmes and facilities for all these systems and comprehensive system support throughout the inservice phase.

Activities undertaken by Defence Electronics (DE)
DE is EADS Defence & Security’s electronics business unit. It develops and manufactures sensors, avionics and electronic warfare systems for military and security applications. All DE’s solutions are geared towards the ever-changing priorities of armed and security forces: command and control capability, reconnaissance, mobility, combat effectiveness and troop protection. DE offers its customers high-end products based on key technologies and proven reliability.

Activities undertaken by Defence and Communications Systems (DCS)
DCS is EADS Defence & Security’s systems business unit. It provides tailor-made solutions to both military and civilian customers, amalgamating EADS’ entire corpus of knowledge when it comes to designing, developing and integrating highly complex systems (lead systems integration – LSI). DCS has the capability to link a wide range of individual platforms and subsystems into a single, highly-effective network.
