| Products and Services: Clößner manufactures high-precision parts and components for the fields of aviation, electronics, optics, defence technology, medical engineering and aircraft manufacture, including surface finishing. We use CAD technology to design aircraft galleys and lavatorys to your individual requirements. Using plans drawn up to each customer‘s individual specifications, we produce cockpit inserts, work surfaces, shaped filler pieces and safety-critical mounting hardware for galleys, as well as housings for sighting optics, cameras, etc. and prototype parts for the AIRBUS A380 superjumbo. The company‘s portfolio ranges from custom machine construction, toolmaking, plant engineering and jig and fixture making through to component assembly, construction engineering and CNC programming technology. We offer a range of manufacturing methods, including flat grinding, drilling, honing, lapping, polishing, broaching, eroding, NC cavity sinking and barrel finishing. We continuously monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process – from the moment goods are received right through to the CNC-controlled processing phase and final inspection using the very latest measurement techniques in fully air-conditioned production facilities. Clößner has been awarded DIN EN ISO 9001/2000 certification by DEKRA Certification GmbH Stuttgart as a mark of the consistency with which it fulfils quality and safety standards. We offer high-precision CNC manufacturing on the latest generation of 5-axis high-speed milling machines with multiple pallet changers, on machining centres for workpieces up to 3500 x 1000 x 750 mm, on double-head CNC turning machines with C axis and powered tools for complete finishing capabilities, and on CNC turning machines for workpieces up to 680 mm diameter x 1500 mm length.
