BÖHLER is a leading supplier of tool steel, high speed steel and high-performance materials to the aerospace industry and has been developing top-quality, market-leading products in this field for more than a century.

We supply semi-finished products, wire, rolled bars, forged bars, hot-rolled sheet, customer-specified profiles and open-die forgings.

Notwithstanding our continual further improvement to the quality of our products, BÖHLER high-performance steels are manufactured using state-of-the-art production facilities and processes in the Group’s various plants.

BÖHLER Deutschland has a customer-oriented and dynamic sales organisation that encompasses 4 regional sales offices and a central warehouse in Düsseldorf. Working in tandem with our cutting and milling centre, we are able to offer an optimal, fast and flexible service.

Quality assurance is firmly embedded in all BÖHLER. activities We are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and aviation standard EN 9120 P3:2003.

At BÖHLER, research and development are an important strategic focus, since focused process and materials research is a prerequisite for perfect products.

In order to meet constantly-changing requirements for materials, BÖHLER promotes intensive cooperation with universities and research institutions and encourages a lively exchange of experience between those involved in basic research and those responsible for its practical application.

The main elements of our metallurgical R&D include new high-performance tool steels and special materials, development activities in the field of melting and casting metallurgy, and the processing and forming of high-grade steels and alloys.

Further proof of our expertise can be found in our independent, accredited test laboratories – facilities that are also used by external customers and institutions.
