CAE Elektronik GmbH – a subsidiary of the Montrealbased global corporation CAE Inc. – is a well-established company engaged in developing, producing and maintaining simulation systems for training civil and military pilots and flight personnel. We also develop simulation solutions, such as UAV simulations and virtual and constructive simulations for ground forces.

Our key business areas include:

Eurofighter training systems for crews of the Eurofighter combat aircraft in Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and Austria.

Development of new NH90 simulators and construction of three ready-to-use NH90 simulator training centres within the scope of a BOT model for the German Army.

Complex helicopter simulators for basic training of helicopter pilots and for night-time, low-level flight training simulations for the German Army Aviation School in Bückeburg. In addition to two UH-1D and two CH-53 night-time, low-level flight simulators, we have also developed eight EC-135 simulators for pilot training.

Tornado flight and tactics simulators for the German Air Force (CAE has developed and supplied all the German Air Force’s Tornado simulators).

System and procedure trainers for a wide range of applications, such as training pilots from the NATO AWACS fleet.

Psychological selection systems designed to determine objectively the suitability of applicants for civil and military flight training, e.g. for the Luftwaffe Institute of Aviation Medicine (FlMedInstLw) in Fürstenfeldbruck.

Combat simulation systems used in the tactical training of commanding officers and staff in battalion and brigade-level ground forces.

Simulation solutions for crisis management and disaster management.
